Shipping times
We always aim to dispatch and deliver orders as quickly as possible. Any delivery times shown on our website, by email or at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
- In stock with us: dispatched within 1 to 2 working days. How quickly it then arrives depends on the shipping option you choose at checkout.
- Made to order, special order or imported: many of our parts are made to order by the manufacturer or imported from overseas, and some UK parts are made to order or imported too. These take longer. Lead times vary by manufacturer and can be anything from a few weeks to 12 weeks or more.
Working days are Monday to Friday, not including UK bank holidays.
What can slow an order down
- The manufacturer or supplier not having the part in stock, or a longer lead time than expected.
- Import, customs or courier delays.
- Weekends, bank holidays and supplier closures.
- Waiting for you to reply. If we need to check something with you, such as fitment, colour or specification, we cannot place your order until you reply. Please keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder for emails from us.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep you updated if there is a significant delay. If you need a part by a certain date, please email us before you order and we will check the lead time for you.
Supplier stock and lead times
Stock status shown on the website is based on the latest information available to us, but this can change without notice. If a supplier is out of stock or there is an unexpected delay, we may contact you with an updated lead time, offer an alternative where available, or cancel and refund the order where appropriate.
Tracking
When your order ships you will usually receive tracking by email, either from us or direct from the supplier or courier. Some parts ship direct from the supplier, so an order with more than one item may arrive in separate parcels.
Delivery services
Orders are shipped using the delivery method selected at checkout, or by another suitable service where necessary.
International orders
For international orders, shipping may be arranged in one of two ways:
- you provide a valid shipping label within the time we ask, or
- we give you a shipping quote for approval and payment before dispatch.
If you do not provide a label and do not wish to go ahead with our shipping quote, the order may be cancelled. In that case we may deduct non-recoverable costs before refunding, such as payment processing fees, supplier cancellation charges, handling or restocking charges, and other direct costs already incurred. Section 13 of our Terms of Service gives the full detail.
Customs, duties and import charges
For international shipments, you are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import charges, clearance fees or other local charges, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Failed delivery or incorrect details
Please make sure your delivery address and contact details are correct. If an order comes back to us because of incorrect details, a failed delivery, a refused parcel or unpaid customs charges, we may deduct shipping, return, handling, restocking or other non-recoverable costs from any refund.
Delays outside our control
We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs, suppliers, weather, industrial action, import restrictions or any other events outside our reasonable control.
Partial shipments
Where appropriate, we may send items in more than one shipment, or hold an order until all items are available, depending on the products and the shipping method.
Cancelling after your order has been processed
If an order is cancelled after it has been specially ordered, processed, packed or prepared for dispatch, we may deduct costs already incurred, including supplier charges, transaction fees, handling fees and restocking fees where applicable.
