Active Autowerke Equal-Length Centre Section for BMW M3 F80 and M4 F82 F83 S55

Unlock the straight six soundtrack your F8X deserves. This Active Autowerke equal-length centre section balances the twin turbo S55 banks before the X section to deliver a deeper, smoother, more refined note with reduced rasp and improved response. Choose the resonated version for decat setups or the non-resonated option for cars retaining catalytic converters. It integrates with the factory back box and many popular performance rear silencers for an easy, bolt-on sound and drivability upgrade.

With decades of BMW tuning expertise behind it, the unique sinusoidal crossover equalises pulse timing to tame the buzzy, high-pitched character often associated with this engine. The result is a richer tone under load, crisper spool, and a proper inline six character across the rev range. We have fitted this system at MJ Modifications on multiple customer M3 and M4 builds and feedback has been outstanding for sound quality and seat-of-the-pants response.
