High performance cooling for BMW F8X S55

Designed as a front positioned water-to-air intercooler radiator, it massively improves coolant volume and heat rejection, making it ideal for fast road, track days and tuned setups where heat soak can blunt performance.

On the S55 engine, stable intake temps equal consistent power. The standard auxiliary radiator for the intercooler circuit can struggle during repeated pulls or on a mapped car. This high capacity heat exchanger uses the available space behind the bumper to deliver a significant jump in coolant volume and surface area, helping the system shed heat quickly and maintain strong performance.

Real world results

We have installed and used this cooler on our own F8X builds and customer cars. Feedback is consistently positive, with quicker recovery between runs, more stable IATs on spirited drives and track use, and a noticeable improvement in consistency on remapped Stage 1 and Stage 2 cars.
