AIRTEC Motorsport Pendulum Mount Upgrade for Focus ST225, ST250 and RS

Eliminate sloppy drivetrain movement and unlock sharper shifts with this AIRTEC Motorsport pendulum mount. Also known as a dog bone, transmission torque link or lower engine steady, this uprated assembly transforms the way your fast Ford drives on the road, fast road and circuit.

We have fitted and used this unit on our own builds and customer cars, and the feedback is consistent: crisper gearchanges, improved traction out of corners, reduced axle tramp and far better control under hard acceleration.

• Far tighter driveline control for faster, cleaner upshifts and downshifts

Engineered to perform

• CNC machined from solid billet aluminium, bead blasted then anodised in a stealth black finish
• Direct swap for the factory lower mount, no cutting or fabrication required
• Supplied with two polyurethane insert options so you can tailor NVH and control
• Optional near-solid Black Series insert available for dedicated track and race applications
• Typical install time under 30 minutes with basic hand tools

Choose your insert

Yellow Fast Road delivers a great balance for daily driving, limiting engine rock while keeping noise and vibration close to standard.

Purple Track or Race is firmer for modified fast road and track cars. Expect a little extra vibration, rewarded by the most immediate shift feel and traction.

Black Series is the near-solid option aimed at motorsport use where the sharpest response matters above all else.

Powerflex insert expertise

Inserts are developed by Powerflex with in-house design, tooling and advanced testing. Components are proven both on-vehicle and on dedicated rigs for durability and performance consistency.
