How it operates

Within key range up to 70 m, press the lock button three times to start the engine. Your BMW remains locked while the HVAC runs on your previous settings. To stop, press the boot button three times. If you do not intervene, the system shuts down automatically after the set run time.

Adjustable run time

Choose 10, 20, 30 or 40 minutes using simple key sequences:

• 10 minutes: open driver door and driver window, then press unlock, lock, unlock. Lights flash twice.
• 20 minutes: open passenger door and driver window, then press unlock, lock, unlock. Lights flash three times.
• 30 minutes: open driver door, driver window and passenger door, then press unlock, lock, unlock. Lights flash four times.
• 40 minutes: open driver door, passenger door and passenger window, then press unlock, lock, unlock. Lights flash five times.

Spare key requirement

• Ownership proof is required to supply a key. After purchase, send a copy of your V5C or registration document and driving licence.
• Keys are supplied without a metal blade as standard. A blade is not needed for this installation. If you want one, select the blade add‑on.
• Keys are built to your VIN by BMW. They are non‑cancellable and non‑returnable.
