This Cobra Sport centre section upgrade replaces the factory middle silencers on facelift BMW 340i saloon and touring models from 2015 to 2019, delivering a sharper, richer note and a noticeable increase in volume. It is a straight-through midpipe solution that keeps the original catalytic converter in place and connects to the rear silencer.

Compatibility and important notes

• Vehicle: BMW 340i F30 LCI saloon and F31 LCI touring, 2015 to 2019, B58 engine
• Position: centre section midpipe, from catalytic converter to ahead of the rear silencer
• Pre-PPF vehicles: direct fit centre resonator delete
• PPF-equipped vehicles: removes the petrol particulate filter and will trigger the EML check engine light without calibration
• PPF removal is for motorsport and off road use only. An ECU reflash is mandatory on PPF-equipped cars at the time of installation to prevent warning lights

Note: Fitment to later models with a particulate filter requires basic engine tuning at installation to cancel the EML. Use on public roads where a PPF was originally fitted is not permitted.
