What it does

The S55 uses a coolant to air charge air cooler mounted on top of the engine. This cover neatly skins the exterior housing for a tidy, uniform appearance without interfering with the cooling circuit or airflow. No impact on heat rejection or intake temps, just a smarter engine compartment.

Fitment and security

Designed for the S55 twin turbo straight six in the following models:

• BMW M4 F82 F83 2013 to 2017
• BMW M4 F82 F83 LCI 2016 to 2018
• BMW M4 CS F82 F83 LCI 2016 to 2018

Installation is straightforward. Degrease the cooler casing, test position the panel, then bond using the pre applied 3M VHB tape for a strong, heat resistant hold. The surrounding components help locate the panel for a snug, rattle free fit.
