Uprated clutch and solid flywheel package for VAG 1.9 diesel 6 speed

This heavy duty RTS Performance kit replaces the stock dual mass flywheel with a robust one piece flywheel and an uprated pressure plate and disc assembly. Designed for 1.9 turbo diesel six speed applications across Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Skoda and the Ford Galaxy platform, it is ideal for fast road use, spirited driving and occasional track days while remaining perfectly civil for the daily commute.

The unique Twin Friction drive plate uses a special aramid lining on the flywheel side with a segmented face on the cover side to cut wear and reduce fade at elevated temperatures. Combined with ER2 heat management and a spheroidal casting micro-structure, the system sheds heat efficiently, resists slip and delivers repeatable bite. The higher clamp load enables up to 60 percent more torque handling than a standard clutch yet pedal feel remains friendly and engagement smooth.

We run this package on our own cars and have fitted it for many customers. Feedback on bite, durability and drivability has been excellent, particularly on tuned 1.9 diesel builds that need dependable torque transmission without sacrificing refinement.
