Made by EBC in Northampton, the outer rings use G3500 high carbon, high copper cast iron for strength at elevated temperatures, paired with a precision machined, hard anodised aluminium bell. EBC’s SD-Drive floating bobbins permit controlled lateral float of the ring, so thermal expansion is managed and the braking surface stays true when pushed hard. Directional, handed internal vanes maximise airflow for rapid cooling, while anti-rattle spring clips help keep things quiet on the road.
