Rear Damper Top Mount Strengthening Plates for BMW E36, E46, Z3 and more

Protect your BMW’s rear suspension turrets with this premium strengthening kit. These rear damper top mount plates are a proven upgrade for fast road, track day and drift builds, and an essential preventative measure on lowered cars or vehicles running uprated shocks and coilovers. Engineered for a direct fit to the factory mounting points, they add serious rigidity to the rear turret area to help prevent cracking and ovalising around the damper studs.

Unlike the thin OE-style plates many owners have used in the past, this set is machined from robust steel and made a full 1 mm thicker than the commonly referenced Z3 plates. The result is a tougher, heavier duty solution with far greater resistance to flex. Finished in a smart matte black zinc plating, they offer excellent corrosion resistance and a discreet OEM-plus look once fitted.

Why choose this upgrade

Rear damper top mount plates are cheap insurance against expensive chassis repairs. On E36, E46 and Z3 models the rear turret metal can be a known weak point, especially with stiffer suspension, sticky tyres and frequent hard driving.
