Lightweight carbon roof insert for BMW E46 track builds and fast road cars

Transform your E46 with a serious weight reduction upgrade. This premium carbon fibre roof insert replaces the factory glass module and cassette assembly to shed mass high up in the chassis. The result is a sharper, more responsive 3 Series or M3 with cleaner steering feel and the potential for improved mpg. The panel itself is just over 3 lbs, and deleting the complete sunroof mechanism can remove 30 lbs or more from the top of the car.

Installation and sealing

Designed to bond directly to the roof skin after removing the complete factory assembly. We recommend test fitting, careful surface prep and bonding with a quality RTV silicone sealant or a suitable structural epoxy to achieve a neat seal and long-term durability. Professional fitting is recommended.
