Thermal management that works
The twin-layer shielding uses a silver outer face to reflect radiant heat and a black inner face to absorb residual energy, with an air gap for insulation. A dedicated carbon shroud further isolates the filter from convective heat. Up front, the carbon scoop feeds ambient air via the factory ducting, saturating the intake area with cool flow for consistent IAT control.
