How it works
This manual fire suppression stick uses a potassium-based jet that vaporises on discharge, then condenses to saturate the fire area. The process disrupts the combustion chain reaction at a molecular level. When activated, potassium radicals bind with reactive particles in the flame, while nitrogen and water vapour help calm the environment. The result is rapid interruption of combustion with only minute potassium particles settling after use.
Operation
Activate by striking the base to start the aerosol-like jet, then aim towards the base of the flames and sweep to saturate the area. The device is composed of stable solid minerals and produces its suppressant only during use. There is no pressurised canister and no propellant thrust.
