Sound options to suit your build

The resonated setup keeps a subtle, sporty character at light throttle with a deeper voice when you lean on it. The non resonated option turns up the volume for a rawer soundtrack, more turbo whistle and those trademark crackles and pops the Focus RS is known for.

Valve control, your way

  • Valved: retains OE valve operation, so changing drive modes continues to alter the exhaust loudness as standard
  • Non valved: removes valve control for a consistent, carefully tuned tone at all times

Real world development

Engineered for performance, this system gives the 2.3 EcoBoost room to breathe. Development testing showed a notable weight saving versus the 24.3 kg OE assembly, with the non resonated de cat turbo to tail setup cutting mass by 13 percent. Sound testing recorded up to 100 dB on the 4,000 rpm static test with the non resonated de cat configuration and up to 101.5 dB when using the Venom system with resonated centre and the OE catalytic converter. Expect a deeper idle, a richer mid range and an addictive tone under load.
