This high-efficiency charge cooler is a direct replacement that slots into the stock location and delivers the cooling headroom remapped hot hatches need for repeatable power on the road, strip and track.

Engineered and proven in the UK, this big-core bar-and-plate unit with cast end tanks offers a substantial improvement in charge temperature control compared to the factory unit. Ideal for cars running a Stage 1 calibration and beyond, it helps combat heat soak, supports stronger mid-range pull and keeps power delivery consistent during back-to-back runs in summer heat.

Factory cooler outlet temps after consecutive pulls:

  • Run 1: In 115°c, Out 44°c
  • Run 2: In 117°c, Out 48°c
  • Run 3: In 118°c, Out 52°c

AIRTEC cooler outlet temps after consecutive pulls:

  • Run 1: In 116°c, Out 18°c
  • Run 2: In 117°c, Out 20°c

These figures show a dramatic drop in charge temperatures, keeping outlet temps close to ambient for dependable, repeatable power without heat fade.
