How the technology works

KONI’s Special Active uses frequency-reactive hydraulic valving to vary damping force according to the type of movement the suspension is experiencing. Low-frequency chassis motions such as cornering, braking and accelerating are kept in check for tight body control. High-frequency inputs from coarse road surfaces are smoothed out for comfort.
