Installed and tested by MJ Modifications in Warwickshire, this unit has impressed us and our customers with noticeably lower inlet temperatures, rapid recovery between pulls and repeatable results on hard drives. The fit is OEM-like, the quality is excellent and it unlocks the overhead needed for ethanol blends, hybrid turbos and serious mapping.

Port fuel injection ready for big power

  • Billet aluminium fuel rail with PTFE -AN hoses and fittings - fully compatible with ethanol and E85
  • Pre-machined injector bosses with optimised angle - no drilling required
  • Anodised blanks supplied for easy deletion when not running port fuel injection
  • Six auxiliary ports accept 1/8 or 1/16 NPT nozzles for nitrous or meth - easily capped when not in use

  • Cast and CNC-machined runners with O-ring grooves to accept factory seals
  • Included fibre gasket helps reduce heat transfer into the runners
  • Stock-style mounting with tidy loom brackets and provision for the OE engine cover
  • Custom EVAP lines supplied for a clean, straightforward install
  • Convenient service window in the plenum for easy oil filter access without affecting flow

Why replace the factory unit

The original combined cooler and intake is efficient at standard output but relies on a tube and fin core crimped to a thermoplastic shell. Those crimps are a known weak point and can fail with only mild increases in boost. Mishimoto’s welded bar and plate core bonded to a robust cast aluminium plenum removes that risk. With bolt-ons, upgraded compressors and calibration, the S58 is capable of 800 hp-plus. Serious power needs serious charge temperature control and this manifold is built for the job.
