Fitment

Volkswagen Passat B5 and B5.5, model years 1997 to 2006.

Functions and inputs

• Turbo pressure input via dedicated plug for the P3 analogue pressure sensor (yellow or purple or black) - boost reference tap not included
• Auxiliary input 1 (brown wire) accepts any 0 to 5 V linear output sensor
• Auxiliary input 2 (blue wire) accepts any 0 to 5 V linear output sensor
• Battery voltage (red and black wires) reads direct from power and ground

Common 0 to 5 V sensor sources include wideband AFR controllers, oil pressure senders, fuel pressure transducers and manifold absolute pressure sensors. If the sensor outputs a linear 0 to 5 V signal, this gauge can display it.

Optional convenience feature

• Auto dim (green wire) connect to a circuit that is powered when the headlamps are on, then enable in the menu so the display dims with the lights for night-time comfort

Installation notes

Not plug and play. A boost or vacuum hose connection to the engine is required, plus wiring for power, ground and any optional analogue inputs you want to use. Boost tap is not included.
