Inputs and wiring at a glance

  • Boost sensor connector uses yellow, purple and black wires
  • Aux input 1 uses the brown wire for any 0 to 5 volt linear signal

  • Power is red, ground is black for voltage monitoring
  • Green wire can be tied into a headlamp live feed for automatic dimming at night

Install notes

  • This unit is not plug and play
  • Requires a vacuum or boost reference line, plus basic power and ground wiring
  • Boost tap is not included. An EA888 boost take‑off is required for Mk7 and Mk7.5 engines
