How the multi layer foam works

Unlike thin paper or cotton gauze, Pipercross uses reticulated foam in three layers that load progressively. The outer layer arrests larger debris, the centre section takes care of the bulk of particles and the fine inner layer protects the intake from the smallest contaminants. The result is consistent airflow over a longer service interval with strong dust retention in road and mixed conditions.
