Heads-up on cancellations & returns: if you cancel an order or return an item, you won't get back 100% of what you paid. We apply a 10% restocking fee, the outbound shipping is non-refundable, and we have to pass on Shopify / PayPal payment processing fees; these aren't returned to us when we refund you. International orders also lose on exchange-rate spread in both directions. If the original packaging is damaged or missing, a reboxing charge applies. For international orders specifically, if you refuse to pay our shipping invoice or supply a prepaid label after placing the order, the same deductions apply. We're upfront about this — please be sure of your purchase before ordering.

Powerflex PFR5-4614 rear axle carrier front mount insert is a proven upgrade for tightening up the back end of your BMW. Built from a road-focused polyurethane compound, this insert fills the voids in the factory rubber mount to cut unwanted movement, sharpen steering feel and keep the rear geometry stable under acceleration, braking and quick direction changes. Expect crisper turn-in, improved traction out of bends and more consistent tyre wear. We run this part on our own cars and customer feedback has been consistently excellent for daily driving and fast-road use.

Key benefits

  • Limits sub-frame shift for tighter handling, better grip and predictable chassis behaviour
  • Helps control wheel hop and rear-end squat for cleaner launches and smoother corner exits
  • Street-friendly polyurethane compound that resists oil, road salt and heat for long-term durability
  • Fits into the voids of the OE mount for a cost-effective performance gain without pressing out the original rubber
  • Supports more consistent alignment and reduced edge wear on tyres
  • Ideal refresh for ageing factory bushes on high-mileage cars
