Crafted in a durable Yellow 70A polyurethane formulation, this clever rod-style insert locates into the voids of the factory upper mount to curb excessive engine movement, reduce drivetrain shunt and deliver cleaner gear changes. Ideal for fast road use and daily driving, it gives a more planted, precise feel without the harshness of a solid mount.

As mileage rises and power increases on the 2.0-litre turbo models, the standard rubber can crack and soften, leading to wheel hop, sloppy shifts and unwanted engine rock. This insert supports the original housing, prolonging mount life and sharpening response under acceleration and deceleration. We have installed this upgrade on customer cars and our own demonstrators with excellent feedback for improved traction and a more connected drive.
