Driveability notes

Compared with a conventional organic disc, a sintered paddle disc engages more abruptly and can introduce judder on take-off, extra drivetrain noise and a firmer pedal. This is normal for a competition-style clutch and is the trade-off for the higher torque capacity and thermal stability enthusiasts want.

Compatibility and fitment

Designed for the BMW 2 Series 218d on the F22 and F87 platforms. Installs as a direct replacement using the OE flywheel or a new genuine flywheel. No adaptations to the bellhousing are required.

Recommended while fitting

  • Replace the release/throw-out bearing at the same time
  • Inspect the flywheel for wear and replace if required
