The disc uses the renowned LUK 8080S friction lining as found in high-performance BMW applications, paired with a reinforced multi-layer facing. This high-performance organic material features dry coating technology, is non-asbestos and lead-free, uses an elastomer and resin binder system, is fibre glass reinforced and includes copper, fillers and friction modifiers.
