Lightweight billet SMF conversion for BMW 1 Series E82 and 3 Series E90 3.0 models 2007-2012
Unlock sharper pedal response, faster rev-up and a more connected drivetrain feel with this SPEC billet solid flywheel. Designed for the twin-turbo straight six and 3.0 diesel variants, it replaces the heavy dual-mass unit with a serviceable, low-inertia assembly that works with a non self-adjusting clutch for greater clamping capability and high rpm control. Material guidance
- Billet aluminium - 14 lbs. Maximum responsiveness and the strongest wheel horsepower improvement we have seen at 17 whp.
- Billet steel - 22 lbs. Excellent road manners, extra damping for a calmer idle with the pedal out, approximately 10 whp gain.
Important notes
- Works with a non-SAC mechanism pressure plate. This is required to achieve the increased clamp loads.
- Not compatible with the factory self-adjusting clutch design.
- You will also need the SPEC BMW clutch for 335i and 335d. Contact us for pairing advice.
