Protect your straight-six from a shredded auxiliary belt being dragged past the crank pulley and into the sump. This precision CNC aluminium shield creates a solid barrier at the front crank oil seal, stopping drive belt debris from being sucked through the seal area and causing oil pickup blockage, oil starvation and costly engine damage. A small, smart reliability upgrade for N54 and N55 engines that can save a rebuild.
Why you need this on your N54 or N55
An ageing or contaminated serpentine belt can fail without warning. When it lets go, fragments can get pulled behind the damper and past the front seal into the timing case and sump. That can clog the pickup, drop oil pressure and ruin bearings. This front seal plate is designed to stop that belt pull-through before it happens on both tuned and stock cars used on the road, fast road and track days.

Pair it with
Install alongside a crank bolt capture unit while the damper is off to add extra protection at the crank interface. This combo gives you both belt suck-in prevention and added security for the crank bolt on these engines.

Note: On a small number of vehicles the capture may not line up with the crank bolt and damper bolts. If this occurs, apply a little extra stretch to align or install a new crank bolt clocked to suit the capture.
