Transform the soundtrack and flow of your facelift 7.5R with this complete exhaust upgrade for the VW Golf R 2018 to 2020 5G platform. Designed for the EA888 2.0 TSI engine, this full system runs from the turbocharger outlet to the tailpipes, replacing the factory downpipe, centre section and rear silencer assembly for a sharper throttle response and a far more engaging drive. Compatible with vehicles without an OPF, GPF or PPF only.
Built to deliver a proper performance car note, the system uses 3 inch 76.2 mm pipework for improved gas flow and a deeper tone. Choose your ideal setup: sports catalyst or decat front pipe, resonated or non-resonated mid section, and valved or non-valved rear section. All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied for a hassle-free install.

Sound and driveability are superb. The resonated version includes a centre silencer for a refined, sporty tone that is comfortable day to day. The non-resonated setup removes the centre silencer for a louder, more aggressive exhaust note. Valved systems integrate with your factory drive modes, so switching from Eco to Race keeps the quiet-to-loud functionality you expect. Non-valved systems deliver a consistent performance sound at all times. Unwanted cabin drone is impressively controlled, and DSG-equipped cars gain an enhanced upshift note that adds to the experience.
Proven performance: independent rolling road testing of a similar resonated turbo-back with sports cat and aftermarket intake on the Golf R platform recorded a 40.76 bhp increase at the wheels. Cat-back testing has also shown gains of 7.4 bhp. The complete 3 inch system cuts weight by around 35 percent compared with the OE exhaust, helping the car feel more eager across the rev range.
