Wagner Tuning Competition Low-Temperature Pre-Radiator for BMW M3 M4 M2 Competition S55

Serious S55 cooling for hard road use and track days. This uprated auxiliary cooler from Wagner Tuning is a direct bolt-on, drop-in upgrade for the water-to-air charge cooler circuit on BMW F80 M3, F82 M4, F83 M4 and F87 M2 Competition with the 3.0 twin-turbo straight-six. It replaces the factory pre-rad in the front grille area, boosting thermal capacity and stabilising intake temps for repeatable performance.

Why this upgrade makes a difference

The S55 uses a water circuit to remove heat from the charge air. Increasing the size and efficiency of the front auxiliary radiator lowers coolant temperatures in that loop, which reduces heat soak and helps your BMW deliver consistent power run after run. Wagner’s motorsport-grade core and fin design delivers stronger heat rejection while keeping airflow to the main engine radiator, condenser and other coolers.
