How it improves cooling

These engines use a water-to-air charge cooling circuit. Lowering the temperature of the coolant in that circuit directly reduces charge temps. This uprated heat exchanger increases system volume and optimises the balance between internal and external surface areas, delivering maximum thermal transfer without starving the main engine radiator of airflow.
